We heard of this Cincinnati coffee spot called Fulton Yards from a friend of ours who knows the owner. My husband and I typically don’t spend time downtown, so I wasn’t sure if we would get to visit Fulton Yards anytime soon. Fortunately, we ended up having a client meeting downtown, and had a chance to hang out at Fulton Yards while waiting for our dinner date!
Fulton Yards is located in a beautiful area near the Ohio River. It’s positioned down the street from the Montgomery Inn Boathouse on Riverside Drive. The inside of this Cincinnati coffee house is very nicely designed. Fulton Yards sports a cozy and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for working or relating. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful in giving us coffee suggestions.
My husband and I both ordered the House Blend drip coffee. I, of course, drank mine black, and my husband added cream and some sweetener to his. The coffee was decent, but it definitely wasn’t my favorite. I like a stronger and bolder flavor in my coffee, and the house blend didn’t quite meet my expectations. I love the atmosphere though! We stayed there for a few hours to work and really enjoyed the peace and quiet.
The spirits are located on the other side of the coffeehouse. That section serves wine, beer and snacks in a covered patio area. Fulton Yards also has pastries from a local bakery, meat, cheese, nuts, pretzels, chips and even chicken salad if you’re really hungry!
Whether you’re looking for a cozy place to work or just looking to grab drinks with some friends, be sure to check out Fulton Yards Coffeehouse and Spirits! They’re open late on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, so plan your night out accordingly! There is parking behind the building for those of you who choose places to visit based on the parking situation! I know I do sometimes! I’m looking forward to going back during the late Spring or early Summer and sitting out back!
