What a blessing it is to have an amazing, God-centered coffee shop within three minutes of our house. When I first moved to the area, my husband already knew about Coffee Cup Overflowing (CCO), but had never really mentioned it. I still wasn’t really big on coffee, and at that time, I wasn’t frequenting coffee shops. I saw the sign for Coffee Cup Overflowing one day and decided to look it up. I really wasn’t sure if they were still operating. After reading the story about the family that owns it, I immediately wanted to spend my money with them!
I love the owner’s story and I can wholeheartedly get behind their mission statement. Their heart is to provide a relaxing environment for customers, serve delicious drinks and to be a place that facilitates relationships. I will say, CCO is living out their mission statement every day. The atmosphere is so peaceful, inviting, and creates a wonderful environment for everyone. There’s a consistent positive energy in the shop, that brings me into a peaceful space every time I walk through the doors.
All the staff members are so sweet and helpful. You can tell they aren’t there to just put in their hours and get a paycheck. They truly want to serve each person and be a blessing to everyone that walks through the doors! It’s always comforting knowing that every time you walk into CCO, you know what you’re going to get. All the patrons are just as wonderful as the staff. You can tell the customers want to continue to keep the culture of the shop. It’s amazing knowing that each person wants to leave the place better than they found it.
I can’t quite call myself a “regular” yet, but my husband and I are well on our way! We love scheduling our business meetings there because it is a place we can support. We enjoy introducing people to CCO, and we know it is a great place to meet with client or friends. It’s a family environment and knowing our clients are going to be treated right is a top priority to us!
I’ve talked a lot about the culture of CCO, but I must say, they have really good products as well! The food and pastries always look so good, but I have only gotten coffee there so far. I tried one of the drip coffees the other day and it was delicious! I think it was some type of Winter blend, but it was delightful! They also have ice cream when the weather is warmer, which allows them to add coffee to your ice cream! I’m sure my husband will be trying that sometime this year!
