The Yummy Bowl West Chester is, hands-down, the best Chinese food in Cincinnati! I am a huge fan of General Tso’s chicken and really… Chinese food in general! When I was looking for a new Chinese spot to try in the West Chester area, I accidentally stumbled upon Yummy Bowl in Union Center. Yummy Bowl is nestled in a small strip, alongside, chipotle, Aladdin’s eatery, and a few other local businesses. I saw the restaurant on the corner of my eye as I was driving down the street one day and thought, why not try it!
My first of many trips to Yummy Bowl West Chester, was during lunch hour in the middle of the week. I ordered a to-go box of General Tso’s chicken and was pleasantly impressed by the amount and the freshness of the food! Just like tikka masala is my measure for how much I like an Indian restaurant, General Tso’s chicken is my measure of how much I like a Chinese restaurant. Yummy Bowl uses fresh chicken in their dish and you can tell because the bites don’t look like minced meat. Their chicken has actual chicken thighs and the flavor is absolutely amazing.
The general Tso‘s chicken had fresh onion slices on it garlic and some pepper sprinkled around and oh my goodness I have to tell you I fell in love. even though I have an affinity for General Tso’s chicken, I’ve also tried the Mongolian beef at yummy bowl and that too had incredible flavor, and was absolutely delicious.
The service that yummy bowl is always on point! The ladies that work the front desk are friendly, courteous, and always have a smile on their face. I recommend calling in your order ahead of time if you plan on trying out yummy bowl. I usually call in my order and it’s ready within 15 to 20 minutes depending on how busy they are. No matter what time I have ordered, my food has always come out hot and fresh.
Yummy bowl has absolutely wrecked my Chinese food experience. It’s hard for me to go to another restaurant to get Chinese food when I’m in town. If you’re like me, and you appreciate good Chinese food, be sure to check out yummy bowl in Westchester.
