Creation Cookies Café is an absolute gem in Danville, Indiana. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed visiting this sweet place (no pun intended!). My journey with Creation Cookies started when my sister-n-law called me, raving about a new place that opened up near her house. She had just gotten some cookies from there and was over the moon about how good they were! Having a husband with a sweet tooth, I knew where we were headed the next time we visited Danville.
We happened to visit my family the weekend of my husband’s birthday, so they wanted to take him out to get breakfast. Breakfast is his favorite meal, so a place like Creation Cookies, with both sweets and breakfast, was a total score! Even though the whole business was started on cookies, Creation Cookies Café has a plethora of menu items besides cookies.
Creation Cookies Café, is located in what was previously a small house in downtown Danville. It’s a quaint little place, full of nothing but peace! There aren’t a ton of tables inside because it’s not a big area and the kitchen takes up most of the space (that’s where all the magic happens). They do have an outdoor area, which will be nice in the warmer months! We were greeted with one of the warmest, most genuine and appreciative greetings I have gotten in a public restaurant, bakery, etc. You can tell everyone in the kitchen loves what they do, and are there to make sure every customer leaves with a satisfied heart and belly!
Besides the incredible customer experience, I knew I could get behind this company when I read their story. Not only is this a faith filled, Jesus loving family (it’s all in the name too), but it was two sisters and their mom that brought this café into being! After all these amazing treats were consumed, the feedback was a resounding DELICIOUS! The coffee was just a basic coffee, but actually wasn’t too bad for black coffee. The food was on point! All the way from the breakfast burrito to the Yum Tart! And they have a ton on the menu we haven’t touched yet, like the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, Cookies and Milk Flight, and Skillet Cookies! Say what!!! Not to mention their rotating pastry and cookie menu!
The service was first class, and we felt very appreciated! This is a great spot for a quick coffee/breakfast date, place to read, study or work for an hour or two. It’s the perfect size menu for the business, and everyone can find something to eat or drink there!
Creation Cookie is a place I would go back to over and over again just for the environment and friendly faces behind the business. We would definitely be regulars if we lived in the area. So if you live in Danville, near Danville or for some reason are passing through, make sure you stop by Creation Cookies Café!!
