Indian Fusion Restaurant – West Chester, Ohio

Our Indian food tour continues with Indian Fusion Restaurant! My brother and sister-n-law gave us a gift card to Indian Fusion Restaurant for Christmas. We actually stumbled upon this one by mistake. I had talked to her about Indian Spice Train restaurant a few times, and how we needed to go there together. When Christmas rolled around, we opened our gift from them, and it was a gift card not to Indian Spice Train, but to Indian Fusion.

We finally decided to make a trip to Indian Fusion for our date night recently. Like I said in my Spice Train post, I always judge an Indian restaurant on their Chicken Tandoori, so that’s what I ordered. My husband is the same way with Chicken Tikka Masala, so that’s what he ordered. We decided to try a different naan bread this time and went with the Ginger Naan instead of Garlic.

My portion of Tandoori was awesome (my husband had some, and I still brought a piece home). It was nicely marinated and seasoned, not overkill like some places, and it was cooked to perfection. The chicken was fresh, flavorful and tender. The onions and peppers were a nice addition to the meal. Our meals came with a bowl of rice that we could share, and it was more than enough for the two of us.

I really enjoyed the Ginger Naan that we ordered with our meal. My husband said it was good, but a bit much for him. He would rather have the Garlic Naan, and it’s more subtle flavors. I would definitely order the Ginger Naan again if I had someone with me that would share. It was a good amount and was also cooked well!

My husband said his meal was “pretty good”. His portion wasn’t as big as he’s had at other places, but said the flavor was good. He liked my tandoori and said he would probably get that next time. His overall rating was an 8/10. We both enjoyed the relaxing, calm atmosphere. There was some neat “mood lighting” and it was an overall nice area.

They did have a few TV’s in case you needed to catch a game while you were out. I personally don’t care for TV’s in restaurants, but I’m not easily distracted by them, so it wasn’t a big deal to me. I would suggest giving Indian Fusion a shot! They were all very polite and almost came to check on us too much! I don’t mean that in a bad way, they just wanted to make sure we had what we needed at all times!

This is a great place for a date night! The environment helps set the mood for a perfect, peaceful night out with your significant other! It is family friendly, if you need to take the kids too! I would suggest not having more than 6-8 in your party, but I am sure they would accommodate to any needs!

Like always, check hours of operation (https://indianfusioncincy.com/) before you head that way. They, like many Indian restaurants, close for a little bit in the afternoon before dinner. Wouldn’t want you to miss out on a delicious meal!
